A premium platform for ebooks, authors and readers.
draws from the Yorùbá word “sọ”, meaning to speak, say, or tell. We extended it into something that stands on its own. We did not inherit this word. We built it. Which means we define it on our terms.
We built Sọna for two people. The reader looking for a great next book, and the author trying to put their work in more hands.
For readers, Sọna makes discovering and reading books simple, and lets you read advance copies and review them before they launch. For authors, Sọna helps you publish, sell, gather early reviews through advance review copies, share, and earn without the usual friction.
This is not just another book platform. It’s a better way to get stories to the people who read them.
Authors keep control of their work and their earnings. Your rights, your terms, always.
Transparent pricing, clear terms, an honest platform. No surprises in your payout.
We respect the work that goes into every book. The platform is built to honour it.
Authors to readers. No intermediaries taking cuts from what belongs to the people who created it.
To build the publishing infrastructure writers deserve. And give readers somewhere genuinely worth their time.
A reading culture where craft is respected, writers are paid properly, and books are taken seriously.
For journalists, partners, publishers, event organisers, and collaborators who need to reference Sọna accurately.
Here you can find approved Sọna brand assets, company information, founder details, and press contact information.
