Stephens-Ajayi Oluwaferanmi has a grudge against God. She doesn’t believe He’s real, and if He is, He’s nothing more than a cruel illusion and an indifferent bystander to her pain. Behind the tall walls she’s built, she feels safe—safe from Him and the people who preach His name.
Martha Joseph is everything Feranmi is not. The Chapel Prefect and a passionate teen evangelist, Martha is warm, persistent, and endlessly hopeful. She’s not afraid to share her faith, even with her sharp-tongued, disinterested roommate. One hostile conversation at a time, she’s determined to show Feranmi the truth of God’s love.
But for Feranmi, unless God Himself comes down to face her, she won’t believe He exists—let alone that He loves her.
